Tucked away in the South Downs, Glynde is a small and peaceful village five miles from the county town of Lewes. Glynde Place sits at the top of the village, a beautiful Elizabethan manor house with far-reaching views across the Weald, open to the public throughout the summer.

The beautiful surroundings and good road and rail access make Glynde Place the ideal venue for an increasing number of events, from the annual Food and Drink Festival, to musical evenings and sports attractions.

Glynde Estates consists primarily of the village and surrounding countryside. The village has a well-stocked village shop and post office, a pub and, for a small village, the unusual advantage of excellent road and rail connections.
